Stellvertretend für die Fachdisziplinen im Maschinenbau wurden Werkstofftechnik und Mathematik betrachtet. Von den Studierenden werden hauptsächlich Gruppenarbeit, Nähe zu den Lehrenden und Selbstorganisation diskutiert.
