Nicht die zentralen News aus Ihrem Intranet oder die Mail an alle Mitarbeiter, sondern: Was ist in jeder einzelnen Vertriebseinheit gestern passiert? Wie viele Beratungsgespräche und Produktabschlüsse gab es? Wie viele Leerberatungen gab es? Wie lange wurden Serviceaufträge bearbeitet? Und vor allem: Wie unterscheiden sich all die Prozesse zwischen Ihren Vertriebseinheiten im Detail? Wie entwickeln sich all diese Prozesse in den letzten Monaten und Jahren? Gibt es Engpässe? Gibt es Trends? Gibt es häufige Prozessabbrüche, bei denen Kunden eine Produktberatung zwar starten, sie aber erfolglos abbrechen? Und an welchen Stellen verlieren Sie Ihre Kunden? Oder stellen Sie sich die Frage, mit welchen Themen Ihre Mitarbeiter nächste Woche beschäftigt sein werden?     Genau diese Fragen können Sie mit Hilfe von Process Mining und Data Analytics in einer Bank oder Sparkasse adressieren. Wie das geht und wie es die Sparkasse KölnBonn evaluiert hat, ist Fokus dieses Beitrags. Gemeinsam mit der Technischen Hochschule Köln (TH Köln) werden die Ergebnisse eines Proof of Concepts (PoC) – eines Forschungsprojekts zur Transparenzschaffung im Unternehmen – dargestellt. Der Beitrag motiviert, dass die junge Disziplin Process Mining geeignet ist, wichtige Informationen über den Betrieb einer Bank oder Sparkasse zu generieren und für die Entscheidungsträger in einem Institut ein enormes Potenzial aufweist, Insights und Erkenntnisse zu gewinnen, die als Ausgangspunkt für eine erfolgreiche Vertriebssteuerung und ein effizientes Kapazitätsmanagement genutzt werden können.    Dieser Beitrag stellt eine Diskussionsgrundlage für die Anwendungsgebiete des Process Minings in Banken und Sparkassen dar und zeigt anhand greifbarer Use Cases (Weiter)Entwicklungspotentiale in der Finanzbranche auf. Nachfolgend werden die Erkenntnisse eines PoCs beschrieben, in dem für über 100 Prozesse rd. 15 Mio. Prozessdurchläufe im Jahr 2020 über eine Analytics-Plattform zugänglich gemacht wurden.",
