    "abstract" : "In order to be successful in a rapidly changing eco system, companies must respond with a continuous development of innovations. This means that companies need so-called dynamic capabilities to recognize chances and risks, seize opportunities and transform their business models. Dynamic capabilities are vital for companies to adapt, i.e. to transform their business models in accordance with ongoing trends and disruptive incidents. This paper uses dynamic capability approaches and change management theory to set up a framework for auditing the transformability of companies. First, dynamic and change capabilities are defined. This is followed by the determination of an indicator system to make the adaptability of companies objectively and holistically assessable. With the help of the framework, audits can be carried out to derive recommendations to strengthen and further develop dynamic and change capabilities of companies – in order to make them more efficiently and effectively responsive to external and internal changes.",
