    "abstract" : "Medienpädagogische Entscheidungen wie beispielsweise die Gestaltung von medial unterstützten Lern- und Kommunikationsangeboten, die Ermöglichung von selbstbestimmter Mediennutzung in oder die bewahrpädagogisch argumentierende Gestaltung von Schutz von Menschen vor Medieneinflüssen in pädagogischen Settings, beruhen auf Bildern vom Menschen. Dieses Kapitel eruiert, welche Annahmen oder empirischen Erkenntnisse dahinter liegen. Bildungs- und Erziehungstheorien, auch Medienbildungstheorien, setzen sich traditionell damit auseinander, was der Mensch ist und wie er werden soll, auch wenn in neueren Ansätzen die Selbstbestimmung des Menschen betont wird. Der Beitrag schildert diese Überlegungen im Kontext der Wechselwirkung mit Medien. Er zeigt Ziele und Anforderungen an Medienpädagogik auf und beschreibt, welche Methoden Medienpädagogik nutzt und entwickelt, um Erkenntnisse über pädagogische Herausforderungen für Menschen im Medienhandeln zu gewinnen und Menschen durch medienpädagogische Angebote in ihren Bildungsinteressen und ihren Entwicklungschancen zu unterstützen.",
