    "abstract" : "„Open Access“ wird in erster Linie als Arbeitsfeld von wissenschaftlichen Bibliotheken verstanden, da die ersten Definitionen – wie zum Beispiel die der Budapester Open Access Initiative – auf wissenschaftliche, begutachtete Literatur abzielen. Spätestens mit dem Aufkommen der Aktivitäten zu Open Science und der Übertragung der Öffnung auf den gesamten Forschungskreislauf einschließlich der Einbeziehung von Akteursgruppen außerhalb der Wissenschaft (Stichwort: „Citizen Science“) wird immer stärker deutlich, dass der Kreis derjenigen, die unter anderem von Open Access profitieren, nicht allein nur in der Forschung und in angrenzenden Bereichen zu finden sind. Der Beitrag zeigt die wesentlichen Akteure auf, die auch außerhalb der Wissenschaft von einer freien Zugänglichkeit zu wissenschaftlicher Literatur profitieren. Im Anschluss werden mögliche Arbeitsfelder reflektiert und erste Diskussionsimpulse gegeben, inwieweit „Open Access“ auch ein Arbeitsfeld für öffentliche Bibliotheken sein kann.",
