        bibo:abstract           "In dieser Untersuchung wird gezeigt, dass die Kubatur des Innenraums der im frühen 11. Jh. erbauten Bartholomäuskapelle in Paderborn auf einer geometrischen Konstruktion beruht. Religiöse Bezüge mit Anleihen aus der Antike spielten bestimmt eine wesentliche Rolle, doch ansonsten ist hier die Geometrie keineswegs als Selbstzweck zu betrachten. Planung und Bauausführung wurden durch die Befolgung einer „geometrischen Logik“, enorm vereinfacht, Proportionen und Harmonien ergaben sich daraus. Die grundlegende Voraussetzung für alle hier aufgeführten Betrachtungen bildet die Dokumentation mit 3D-Laserscanning, welche einen hochgenauen verformungsgerechten „digitalen Zwilling“ am Computer erzeugt. Alle benötigten Maße können so abgegriffen werden, ohne aufwendige Nachmessungen am Objekt durchführen zu müssen. Für das Auffinden einer belastbaren geometrischen Konstruktion bildet wiederum die Analyse der über die Jahrhunderte aufgetretenen Deformationen eine unabdingbare Voraussetzung, da sonst die baubedingten Unregelmäßigkeiten nicht erkannt werden können." ;
