    "abstract" : "Die Verwertung von Böden hat in den letzten Jahren u. a. aufgrund der Verknappung von verfügbaren Beseitigungskapazitäten an Bedeutung gewonnen. Die Realisierung von Tunnelbauprojekten stellt dabei eine Besonderheit dar, da über einen kurzen Zeitraum lokal große Mengen an Boden anfällt. Im Lockergestein werden Tunnel üblicherweise mit Tunnelbohrmaschinen mit flüssigkeits- oder erddruckgestützter Ortsbrust hergestellt. Häufig werden auch Vortriebe in heterogenen Baugrundverhältnissen, u. a. mit tonhaltigen Böden realisiert. Der anstehende Boden wird verfahrensbedingt verändert, so dass das Aushubmaterial möglicherweise aufbereitet werden muss, bevor dieses verwertet oder beseitigt werden kann. So kann Aushubmaterial in die Gruppen Material zur Rohstoffsubstitution, Material zur Verwendung für erd- und verkehrswegebauliche Zwecke oder Material für Landschaftsbauwerke unterteilt werden. Ziel der Verwertung sollte es  immer sein, den Baustoff Boden möglichst ökologisch sinnvoll zu nutzen. Aushubmaterial aus dem maschinellen Tunnelbau im Lockergestein kann für verschiedene Möglichkeiten der Rohstoffsubstitution genutzt werden. Aus diesem Grund werden im Ramen des Forschungsvorhabens „Aufbereitung und Aktivierung von Tonböden für ressourceneffiziente Geopolymer-Baustoffe“, kurz TOFFEE, seitens des BMBF gefördert. Das Ziel des Forschungsvorhabens, welches durch Brameshuber + Uebachs Ingenieure GmbH, IMM Maidl & Maidl Beratende Ingenieure GmbH & Co. KG, STUVA e. V, MC Bauchemie Müller GmbH & Co. KG und die Technische Hochschule Köln umgesetzt wird, ist es, innovative ressourceneffiziente Baustoffe auf der Basis von tonhaltigen Böden zu entwickeln. Der Schwerpunkt liegt dabei auf den eingesetzten tonhaltigen Böden und deren Eigenschaften, der Aufbereitung dieser Böden sowie der Eignung des aufbereiteten Materials als Ausgangsstoff für Bindemittel in mineralischen Baustoffen.",
