    "abstract" : "Energiespeicher sind ein wichtiges Element in Energieversorgungssystemen. In verschiedenen Einsatzfeldern wie Energiehandel, Notstromversorgung aber auch Versorgung von Ein-zelverbrauchern zählen Energiespeicher zum Stand der Technik und werden seit Jahrzehnten eingesetzt. Die mit der Energiewende verbundenen strukturellen Transformationsprozesse des deutschen Energiesystems führen allerdings zu einer veränderten Rolle für Energiespeicher. Dies zeigt sich zum einen in einem steigenden Speicherbedarf, welcher den gesamten Bereich von (Ultra-)Kurzzeitspeichern bis hin zu Langzeitspeichern umfasst, zum anderen kommen neue Einsatzfelder hinzu und für etablierte Einsatzgebiete sind Änderungen aufgrund angepasster regulatorischer Rahmenbedingungen zu berücksichtigen. Eine wichtige Rolle im zukünftigen Speicherportfolio zeichnet sich für stationäre Batteriespeicher ab. Hier ist in den letzten Jahren eine große Dynamik an Forschungsaktivitäten zu verzeichnen mit einer Zunahme an Pilotprojekten (z.B. Batteriespeicher zur Bereitstellung von Systemdienstleistungen). Auch eine Vielzahl kommerzieller Produkte, insbesondere im Bereich Hausener-giespeicherung zur Erhöhung des PV-Eigenverbrauchs, ist mittlerweile auf dem Markt verfügbar.",
