        bibo:abstract             "Der Text beleuchtet die Einführung einer neuen Wahl-Lehrveranstaltung an der Technischen Hochschule Köln (TH Köln) mit dem Titel Argumentationstraining gegen Stammtischparolen. Diese Veranstaltung, initiiert von Prof. Klaus-Peter Hufer, bietet Studierenden des Studiengangs Bibliothek und digitale Kommunikation die Möglichkeit, sich in Argumentationstechniken gegen rechtsextreme Äußerungen zu schulen. Der Bedarf für Demokratiearbeit in Bibliotheken wird herausgearbeitet, wobei die Rolle von Bibliotheken als Orte gelebter Demokratie und demokratischer Kultur hervorgehoben wird. Der Artikel betont die steigende Forschungsaktivität zu diesem Thema und unterstreicht die Relevanz von Bibliotheken als Akteure der Demokratieförderung. Die Lehrveranstaltung wird mit ihren Zielen, Inhalten und Methoden erläutert. Darüber hinaus werden die Ergebnisse der Interviews von Studierenden mit acht Bibliotheken zum Thema bibliothekarische Demokratiearbeit vorgestellt." ;
