    "description" : "Computerspiele sind beliebt – und ein Wachstumsmarkt mit enormem Potenzial. Nordrhein-Westfalen hat sich in den vergangenen Jahren zu einem bedeutenden Games-Standort innerhalb Deutschlands entwickelt. Die Forschung im Bereich Games Technology findet jedoch noch individuell an den jeweiligen Hochschulen und oftmals ohne Einbindung der Spieleindustrie statt. Vor diesem Hintergrund haben sich vier nordrhein-westfälische Hochschulen zusammengetan, um das „Games Technology Network“ (GTN) aufzubauen. Neben der Technischen Hochschule Köln sind die Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg, die RWTH Aachen und die Hochschule Düsseldorf an dem Netzwerk beteiligt.<br>Das Vorhaben hat zum Ziel, ein Netzwerk von akademischen und Industrie-Partnern aufzubauen, das Forschung und Entwicklung in der Spieletechnologie in NRW befördert. Dazu sollen Workshops durchgeführt werden, in deren Rahmen in enger Verzahnung mit der Industrie Innovationspotenziale analysiert werden. Aufbauend darauf werden Games-Technology-Demonstratoren entwickelt, um die damit verbundenen Entwicklungszweige zu explorieren.",
