Sie profiliert sich als Knotenpunkt für Gründungen in technischen Profilbereichen und nutzt die Synergien und Netzwerkeffekte im regionalen Gründungsökosystem für die Professionalisierung und Verstetigung der Gründungsunterstützung, insbesondere im Verbund der Gateway Hochschulen Köln.<br>Der Förderaufruf „Start-up Center.NRW“ fördert Hochschulen bei der Erschließung von Gründungspotenzialen, der Vorbereitung von Gründungen und dem Ausbau einer nachhaltigen Gründungskultur mit dem Ziel, die Qualität und die Anzahl von Gründungen aus Hochschulen zu steigern sowie die Rolle von Hochschulen in regionalen Start-up Ökosystemen als Quelle innovativer Gründungen dauerhaft zu stärken. <br><br>Die TH Köln festigt mit „Start-up Center Gateway TH Köln“ ihre Rolle im Start-up-Ökosystem als Schlüsselakteurin bei der Entwicklung eines rheinischen Entrepreneurship Clusters und im Kontext der strategischen Weiterentwicklung der Gateway Hochschulen Köln. Die Zusammenarbeit der Kölner Hochschulen wird auf Basis der bestehenden strategischen Kooperationen und Netzwerke in der Gateway-Markenfamilie zusammen mit weiteren Partnern ausgebaut und dauerhaft etabliert.",
