    "description" : "Im Projekt FlexProTool wird ein innovatives, flexibles Profilierwerkzeug für die hochpräzise Herstellung ultradünner 8-µm-Aluminiumfolien entwickelt. Ziel ist es, die Werkzeuggeometrie dynamisch durch ein präzises mechanisches System anzupassen und die Walzprofile so zu optimieren, dass Schwankungen bei der Produktion hochwertiger Batteriefolien ausgeglichen werden. Diese Aluminiumfolien sind ein zentrales Element von Lithium-Ionen-Batterien, da sie als Leiter fungieren und daher eine gleichmäßige Dicke sowie eine makellose Oberflächenqualität erfordern. Die Entwicklung zielt darauf ab, diese Folien auch unter dynamischen Walzbedingungen mit extremer Präzision zu formen – etwas, das mit bisherigen Technologien nicht in ausreichendem Maße möglich ist. Im Rahmen des Projekts arbeiten mehrere Partner eng zusammen. Die TH Köln übernimmt dabei die Entwicklung von Teilsystemen, die messtechnische Erfassung sowie die Simulation der Einstellmechanik und der Verformungsvorgänge des Profilierwerkzeugs.",
