    "description" : "Ziel dieses Projektes ist die Entwicklung, Erprobung und Optimierung eines Prototyps zum Smart Vertical Indoor-Farming für die energie- und ressourceneffiziente sowie regionale Produktion von Obst und Gemüse in vollständig geschlossener Umgebung nach einem modularen Baustein/ Baukasten-System in Form von skalierbaren, aufsteckbaren und stapelbaren Containern/Boxen mit kombinierbaren Hydroponik-Techniken, insbesondere Nährstofffilmtechnik und Ebbe und Flut-System, LED-Beleuchtungssystemen sowie Sensorik- und Automationsmodulen. <br><br>Insgesamt soll ein besseres Gleichgewicht zwischen optimalem Pflanzenwachstum und niedrigeren Produktionskosten (Betriebs- und Energiekosten) erreicht werden. Damit könnten auch in Deutschland Pflanzen wie Paprika, Chilis oder Beeren vermehrt und preisgünstig in Indoor-Farmen angebaut werden, wodurch sich Pestizide vermeiden und lange Lieferwege einsparen lassen und eine ganzjährige Verfügbarkeit erreicht wird. Landflächen und Gewässer werden in Zukunft geschütz. Obst und Gemüse bleibt auch länger frisch, da es durch den Anbau in Städten keine langen Lieferwege zurücklegen muss. Durch die Reduzierung von Transportwegen werden Emissionen vermieden.",
