    "description" : "Beim nassen Unterwasserschweißen kommt aktuell ausschließlich das Lichtbogenhandschweißverfahren zum Einsatz. Dieses Verfahren ist mit diversen Nachteilen behaftet, unter anderem einer begrenzten Schweißnahtlänge und der Notwendigkeit zum häufigen Elektrodenwechsel in schwierigen Unterwasserverhältnissen für Taucher. Darüber hinaus ist das Verfahren durch die mäßige Güte der Schweißnähte gekennzeichnet und eignet sich nicht für die Verarbeitung hochlegierter Stähle bei Offshore-Bauwerken. Am IWA mit umfangreicher Vorerfahrung zu Unterwasserschweißprozessen soll mit einem neuartigen Fülldraht-Brenner und einem im Unterwasserfahrzeug integrierten Drahtvorschubgerät das nasse vollmechanisierte und KI-gesteuerte FCAW-Unterwasserschweißen erschlossen werden, um die bestehenden Einschränkungen des Tauchschweißens zu beheben. Mit Hilfe der geplanten Druckkammer sollen dabei der UW-Schweißprozess für verschiedene Wassertiefen und Schweißpositionen untersucht und geeignete Prozessparameter in Form einer Datenbank der KI-Regelung zur Verfügung gestellt werden.",
