Übergeordnete Zielsetzung des Projekts ist die Entwicklung innovativer ressourceneffizienter Baustoffe auf der Basis von tonhaltigen Böden. Eine Beseitigung von großen Bodenmassen aus Grund- und Tunnelbauprojekten auf einer Deponie o. Ä. kann damit vermieden werden. Das Erreichen dieses Gesamtziels ist mit mehreren essentiellen Teilzielen bzw. Einzelinnovationen verknüpft.
