    "description" : "In diesem Forschungsvorhaben soll ein Prozess für die kommerzielle Herstellung von Polyvinylidenfluorid(PVDF)-Hohlfasern für Filteranwendungen in der Medizintechnik entwickelt werden. Dabei liefert die ausgezeichnete Biokompatibilität von PVDF das Potential, einen Dialysator herzustellen, der eine längere Standzeit ermöglicht als herkömmliche Dialysatoren. Dies kann diverse Vorteile u. a. im Bereich der Akutdialyse bringen. Zudem könnte eine bessere Biokompatibilität den oxidativen Stress und den Bedarf an Heparin während der Dialyse verringern, was den Outcome für Patienten verbessert.<br>Die PVDF-Hohlfaser soll im Lösungsmittelspinnen nach dem Air-Gap-Verfahren hergestellt werden. Hierfür ist eine Anpassung des Lösungsmittelspinnprozesses notwendig. Außerdem werden verschiedene für die Dialyse relevante Eigenschaften in Versuchen quantifiziert, darunter die Clearance, der Massentransfer KoA, Siebkoeffizient und Ultrafiltrationskoeffizient. Ziel ist es dabei, gleiche oder bessere Werte zu erreichen als bei kommerziell erhältlichen Dialysefasern aus bspw. Polysulfon oder Polyethersulfon. Es soll ein High-Flux-Dialysator entwickelt werden.",
