Vielversprechende Ansätze, um Pflanzenkulturen vor den negativen Auswirkungen des Klimawandels wie Starkregen und Hagelschäden zu schützen und gleichzeitig den Einsatz von Pestiziden in der Landwirtschaft zu reduzieren, sind die Agri-Photovoltaik (Agri-PV) und das Vertical Indoor Farming (VIF) oder die Kombination beider Technologien. Dazu werden Robotersysteme benötigt, die nicht nur auf dem Feld, sondern auch in luftiger Höhe beim VIF zum Einsatz kommen, da die Früchte auf mehreren Etagen angebaut werden. <br><br>Erdbeeren gehören wegen ihres süßen Geschmacks zu den beliebtesten Früchten weltweit, sind aber in vielerlei Hinsicht sehr empfindlich: Anders als Äpfel oder Bananen reifen die kleinen roten Früchte nicht nach. Ziel des Projekts ist die Entwicklung eines autonomen, KI-basierten Ernteroboters, der einen bedeutenden technologischen Fortschritt für den Erdbeer-Ernteprozess in Bezug auf Effizienz, Genauigkeit und Arbeitssicherheit (Minimierung der Sturzrisiken) darstellt.",
