    "description" : "Verschleiß kann je nach Bauarbeitsprozess in unterschiedlicher Form und Größe an den eingesetzten Maschinen auftreten und so einen wesentlichen Einfluss auf die Nachhaltigkeit und die Wirtschaftlichkeit eines Bauprojekts haben. Da aktuell geforderte Laborversuche nur eine begrenzte Aussagekraft haben, sollen im Rahmen der hier beantragten interdisziplinären Forschung Untersuchungen zur Abschätzung des Verschleißes an Werkzeugen infolge des Kontaktes mit Böden durchgeführt werden und anhand eines Praxisprojekts validiert werden. Um diese Fragestellung ganzheitlich anzugehen, bringen die als neuberufen geltenden Professoren langjährige Erfahrung aus ihren Spezialbereichen der Abrasivität von Böden, Simulation von Arbeitsvorgängen von Baumaschinen und Eigenschaften von Werkstoffen in das Forschungsvorhaben ein. Basierend auf den aktuellen Kenntnissen zur Abrasivität von Böden bzw. zum Werkzeugverschleiß sieht die Forschung sieben Arbeitsschritte vor. Die Förderung wird insbesondere für wissenschaftliches Personal, aber auch für Verbrauchsmaterialien benötigt. Das Projekt soll dazu führen, dass ein wichtiger Themenkomplex aus dem Bereich „Nachhaltiges Wirtschaften und Ressourcen“ innerhalb und außerhalb der TH Köln sichtbar wird, so dass weitere Forschung eingeworben werden kann und die TH Köln und das Land Nordrhein-Westfalen im Bereich der Nachhaltigkeit wichtige Akzente setzen können.",
