        vivo:description        "Das Projekt REPLÂNTICA bringt Wissenschaft und Praxis zusammen. In gemeinschaftlicher Entwicklung entsteht ein nutzerorientiertes Trainingsprogramm zur biodiversitäts- und klimafreundlichen Wiederbewaldung von degradierten Weideflächen in Brasilien. Die Mata Atlântica ist ein Hotspot biologischer Vielfalt. Aufgrund von Abholzung und Bodendegradation sind nur noch 12,4 Prozent der ursprünglichen Waldfläche vorhanden. Zumeist kleine, isolierte Fragmente können biologische Vielfalt und damit verbundene Ökosystemdienstleistungen nicht gewährleisten. Zwar verpflichtet die brasilianische Gesetzgebung Landbesitzer*innen, mindestens 20 Prozent ihrer Flächen wieder zu bewalden, die Erfolge der ökologischen Wiederherstellung von Waldökosystemen sind aber unzureichend. Das ITT und der Projektpartner REGUA entwickeln Schulungskurse für sechs relevante Zielgruppen. Diese erlernen in jeweils auf sie zugeschnittenen Kursen die naturschutzorientierte Renaturierung ihres degradierten Landes. Dabei sollen Synergien zu globalen Zielen hergestellt und Unternehmen in langfristige Kooperationen für Nachhaltigkeit eingebunden werden. Das Projekt baut auf bestehenden lokalen und regionalen Netzwerken von REGUA und ITT auf." .
