    "description" : "Farming, Urban Farming, Indoor Farming, Hydroponik und andere Formen der innovativen Landwirtschaft gewinnen seit Jahren an Bedeutung für eine nachhaltige und lokale Versorgung der Bevölkerung mit frischen landwirtschaftlichen Produkten. Eine der größten Herausforderungen bei dieser neuen Form der Landwirtschaft ist die Beleuchtung der Pflanzen, die über 50 % des Energieverbrauchs einer Urban Farm ausmacht.<br>Ziel dieses Projektes ist die Entwicklung eines neuen künstlichen Beleuchtungssystems für den vertikalen, hydroponischen Anbau von Fruchtgemüse und Obst am Beispiel von Chilis und Erdbeeren. Hierbei sollen intelligente und energieeffiziente Beleuchtungs- sowie Machine Vision-Module zur Optimierung des Pflanzenwachstums und zur Ertragsmaximierung zum Einsatz kommen. Eine präzise Anpassung des Lichtspektrums verringern die Wärmeentwicklung und reduzieren den Energieverbrauch der Beleuchtung in der vertikalen Landwirtschaft. Insgesamt soll ein besseres Gleichgewicht zwischen optimalem Pflanzenwachstum und niedrigeren Produktionskosten erreicht werden. In Zukunft sollen Transportwege eingespart und Treibhausemissionen durch die lokale/urbane Produktion von frischem Obst und Fruchtgemüse vermieden werden.",
