Die TH Köln bringt ihre Expertise ein, um innovative virtuelle Sensoren für hochautomatisierte Fahrzeuge zu entwickeln. In enger Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Konsortiumsmitgliedern werden zunächst die Anforderungen für die ShapeFuture-Technologien spezifiziert. Dies beinhaltet die Analyse der Anforderungen an die Virtualisierung von Sensoren zur Bestimmung der Fahrzeugdynamik sowie die Nutzung von überwachten Lernalgorithmen zur Verbesserung der Leistung in Situationen, in denen Daten spärlich oder nicht verfügbar sind. Im weiteren Verlauf des Projekts erfolgt die systematische Konzeptionierung des virtuellen Sensors und die Übertragung der Ergebnisse auf reale Anwendungen. Die Entwicklung von KI-Modellen zur Virtualisierung von Sensoren sowie die Durchführung von Experimenten zur Anwendbarkeit des Ansatzes stehen im Fokus. Ziel ist die Entwicklung hochmoderner ECS, die durch virtuelle Sensoren eine verbesserte Wahrnehmungsfähigkeit, erhöhte Robustheit und Präzision aufweisen.
