    "description" : "The overall objective of the project is to initiate a new collaboration form between TH Köln - University of Applied Sciences (THK) in Germany and German Jordanian University (GJU) in Jordan, in the field of water nexus research in Jordan. It aims to conduct collaborative activities between researchers from both universities to identify a joint research interest; and conceptualize and write future research proposal on a new promising water nexus topic.<br>Our future research project addresses the water-agriculture nexus in Jordan through applying climate- smart agriculture approaches, practices, and technologies (CSA-PAT) that focus on water-efficient agriculture, to reduce nexus trade-offs and maximize its synergies. Its purpose is to create economically-viable, socially-inclusive, and water-efficient agriculture production systems in Jordan that enhance the national water and food security. To pave the way for the future research, this project explores successful internationally practiced first-hand CSA-PAT, particullarly those applied in Germany; and identifies among them potentially relevant and applicable ones in Jordan to be tested in the future research.",
