    "description" : "Ziel der Forschungsarbeiten ist es, ein alternatives Verfahren zur Aufbereitung von stickstoffhaltigen Prozesswässern zu entwickeln. Im Vergleich zum konventionellen Belebtschlammverfahren nutzen Mikroalgen für den Stoffwechselprozess Sonnenlicht und atmosphärisches CO2 und produzieren zudem O2, der wiederum synergetisch im Aufbereitungsprozess verwertet werden kann. Die erzeugte Biomasse ist ein biogener Wertstoff. Im Rahmen der Forschungsarbeiten erfolgt die Untersuchung unterschiedlicher Kultivierungsbedingungen in biofilmbasierten Photobioreaktoren für Mikroalgen in stickstoffhaltigen Prozesswässern (z. B. landwirtschaftliche Prozesswässer, Deponiesickerwasser, Wasser aus der Stahlindustrie). Der Fokus der Arbeiten liegt auf der Variation der Aufwuchsmaterialien, Temperatur und der Lichtverfügbarkeit in den Photobioreaktoren.",
