    "description" : "Die TH Köln, die HTWK Leipzig und die Firma Roding Mobility GmbH untersuchen einen neuartigen Ansatz, den Radnabenantrieb für PKW und leichte LKW, insbesondere auch für preisgünstige Kleinwagen, tauglich zu gestalten, da der Stator der elektrischen Maschine gefedert konstruiert wird. Dazu wird die elektrische Maschine als Axialflussmaschine ausgeführt. Mit diesem innovativen Prinzip gelingt es, die fahrdynamisch problematische „ungefederte Masse“ des Motors im Rad deutlich zu verringern. Kombiniert werden soll dieser innovative Ansatz mit hocheffizienten Maschinentopologien, die ohne Verwendung von Seltenerd-Magneten auskommen. Die Maschinen werden dabei mit einer Systemspannung kleiner als 60 VDC betrieben, um die Systemkosten zu minimieren und die Sicherheit des Antriebssystems zu maximieren. Die angestrebte Bauraumneutralität ermöglicht zudem die Verwendung einer konventionellen Reibbremse ohne Umkonstruktion, wodurch die aufwandsarme Umrüstung von Bestandsfahrzeugen möglich wird. Folgerichtig soll das fortschrittliche, kostengünstige und umweltgerechte Antriebssystem im Rahmen des Projekts in ein vorhandenes Fahrzeug für Test- und Demonstrationszwecke integriert werden.",
