    "description" : "Im Umgang mit historischem Kulturgut kommt es immer wieder vor, dass sich an einem Objekt gesundheitsschädliche Materialien befinden. In den vergangenen Jahren wurden vermehrt Funde von Büchern gemeldet, die arsenhaltige Pigmente als Bestandteil der Einbandgestaltung oder Schnittverzierung enthalten. Diese Funde werfen die Frage auf, wie die Gefährdungslage für Restaurator*innen einzuschätzen ist und ob schärfere Regeln für den Umgang mit Bibliotheksgut eingeführt werden müssen.<br>Im Rahmen des Forschungsprojektes „Arsenhaltige Einbände wieder nutzbar gemacht“ der Universitäts- und Landesbibliothek Bonn und dem CICS beschäftigte sich diese Bachelorarbeit mit arsenhaltigen und unterbundenen Farbschnitten an Büchern. Da abpudernde Pigmente ein erhöhtes Gesundheitsrisiko darstellen, sollten Möglichkeiten der Konsolidierung getestet und auf ihre Wirksamkeit untersucht werden.",
