    "descriptionEN" : "On 26th of March 2024 the vessel Dali collided with the French Scott Bridge in Baltimore and to potential loss amount could go up to a couple of Billion USD. There are a lot of uncertainty factors around the loss which deal with the possible limitation of liability to the value of the vessel (USD 43.7 Million), betterment in repairment, subrogation, US Legislation, legal costs and inflation. The loss will likely go into the Excess of Loss (Re)Insurance Programme of the International Group of Protection & Indemnity Clubs and therefore have an impact on the renewals of the programme. The programme saw an increase in price following the loss, however, the structure remained unchanged. It is questionable, whether the renewal constituted a missed opportunity or a used chance. The programme of International Group of Protection & Indemnity Clubs always renews buring-cost driven and therefore the adjustment of the price is significant. The price and the structure of the programme does not reflect the underlying exposure growth.",
