Bei Systemen wie dem Abstandsregeltempomaten besteht die Gefahr, dass Fahrer*innen im entscheidenden Moment nicht beide Hände am Lenker haben. Im Forschungsprojekt HoDI werden neue Griffe für elektronische Zweiräder entwickelt, um die Hands-on-Detection und Interaktion zu verbessern. Die Benutzungsschnittstelle wird in die Griffe verlagert. Dadurch sollen Fahrer*innen mithilfe von KI-gestützter Gestenerkennung und haptischem Feedback das Zweirad intuitiv, ohne visuelle Ablenkung bedienen können." .
