Bildschirme, die als Schnittstelle zwischen Mensch und Maschine dienen, lenken die Fahrenden oft ab, da sie nicht mehr auf die Straße schauen. Bei Systemen wie dem Abstandsregeltempomaten besteht die Gefahr, dass Fahrer*innen im entscheidenden Moment nicht beide Hände am Lenker haben. Im Forschungsprojekt HoDI werden neue Griffe für elektronische Zweiräder entwickelt, um die Hands-on-Detection und Interaktion zu verbessern. Die Benutzungsschnittstelle wird in die Griffe verlagert. Dadurch sollen Fahrer*innen mithilfe von KI-gestützter Gestenerkennung und haptischem Feedback das Zweirad intuitiv, ohne visuelle Ablenkung bedienen können.",
